How to Select Villa
Wherever you look on Goa Villa, you will surely find many luxury vacation rentals. There are many in Assagao as well. So how do you select the best villa for you and your group? Consider the following โ
Number of bedrooms โ Select a villa that is right for your group size. Remember, most bedrooms can accommodate two adults and perhaps a child. So, if you are a group of 10 guests, you need a 10-bedroom villa.
Location โ Consider factors like how close it is to a town, tourist attraction, and beach. In Assagao, you will find many villas close to a beach, fort, and even the beautiful Chapora River.
Maintenance โ Even the best property cannot be luxurious unless it is well maintained. Look closely at the pictures and find out whether it is a new property. Ask questions if you must.
Privacy and Security โ One reason for staying at a villa is its privacy it offers. When selecting a property, you want to ensure that you will indeed have the privacy you want. Also, those staying in a luxurious home will probably have expensive things. So, itโs a plus if the property has security.
Views โ Of course, not all houses can offer views. But it is definitely a big plus if your villa offers views of the sea, hills, and greenery.
Facilities and Amenities - Private villas offer a range of amenities and everyday comforts. Check what is being offered at the place you are considering.
What Features and Amenities Are Important
A luxury house will offer many amenities and facilities like a private swimming pool, garden, lawn, air-conditioned rooms, satellite televisions, living and dining areas, bathrooms with toiletries, a well-equipped kitchen, barbecue, and more. But each villa is different.
Check carefully to see what is there in the house. Also consider your group's dynamics because each group's requirements are always different. For example, if you are travelling with family, then it helps if the villa has a playground in it or nearby. It will be a plus if there are games like table football, ping pong, or even board games.
If you are a group of friends, then features like a bar, outdoor or indoor, can be a huge advantage. A media room with a large-screen television will be good for both families and friends.
Also check, if breakfast is complimentary and whether the kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal.
Living in the Villa
Living in a beach villa or a luxury villa in a premium location like Assagao is always a unique experience. Unlike a hotel or a resort, you donโt have to share the common areas and amenities with people you donโt know. Like the swimming pool, for example. It will be exclusively for you and your group. This has become even more important now after the Covid pandemic.
You will also have complete privacy in the premium Assagao rental. Spend precious time with your family or close friends away from everyone else. Your kids can run and have fun safely without bothering the neighbors. You can use the barbecue to enjoy a grilled feast. As a group of friends, you can even organize a private party.

Services of Chef, Car Rental
Most villas in Assagao and elsewhere in Goa are self-catering properties. This means, the house does not have a chef. It has a well-equipped kitchen with many modern appliances, pots, pans, tableware, and glassware, which you can use to cook. You will just need to buy the groceries and supplies.
However, in some luxury destinations, you will find villas where breakfast is complimentary. There are a few villas that have an in-house chef as well. If there is no chef, and you donโt want to cook, then you can always approach the villa manager or our concierge team to find someone who can cook the food for you. Your property caretaker may also agree to do the grocery shopping on your behalf. You need to pay for it.
Most villas can also arrange for a car or a bike for you. They can contact someone directly if you want or give you the phone number.
How Long Can You Stay in a Villa?
You can book your Assagao villa for as long as you want. It can be for a short vacation and even for months if you plan a long-term stay in Goa. But remember, most luxury properties have a minimum-night requirement, which can be for about 4 nights. This means you cannot just check in on Friday and check out on Sunday or Monday, thus staying in the villa only for the weekend.
Also remember, this minimum-night requirement is longer during special times of the year like Christmas, New Year, Independence Day of India, Diwali, and such others.
You need to mention the length of your stay during the booking clearly. You can, of course, extend the stay if you want, provided the villa is available. If it is not available, then we can find an alternative property that is like the one you originally selected, provided it is available.
Best Season to Stay
The best season to visit Assagao is between November and February when the temperature is low. All the restaurants, cafes, nightclubs, beach shacks, and everything else will be open this time of the year. Many shacks, especially in South Goa are closed in the summer. Many restaurants also work with limited staff. The rainy season (middle of June to late August) is also good.
The price of Assagao villas is lower in the rainy season. Most villas in Goa charge a premium in the Christmas-New Year time like elsewhere in the world.
